  7. @M, OK, I see..I thought you were talking about RG gymnast…still think it’s no chance for Masha to do ballet after RG. If everything goes well (I hope so), when she retired, she will be 20+ years old that’s really too late. BTW, about the Yulia, I think she is still in ballet school, according to my friend, normally you need to learn 8-9 years in ballet school, but she needs more time because she is transferred from other profession…

  8. No, not that Yulia. I am talking about one recently – Yulia belokobylskaya./ I believe she started last year. Even if Maria doesn’t, I just thought it would be cool. She picked up the lessons she learnt quickly.

    Thanks for the videos.

  9. @M, Yulia Barsukova, no Barsukova just performed a ballet like a guest performance after finishing RG career, but you mean do ballet as professional, that’s totally different story. All the professional ballerina starting in very young age. No chance for Masha, it’s really pity for her, because I thought she would have great future in ballet, she is so talented in it, but in RG, I don’t think so. I hope I am wrong (I mean in RG), anyway wish her Luck in St. Petersburg, even it’s just OC.

P.S. I ever asked a friend, she is like an expert in ballet and RG, did any RG gymnast transfer to do ballet after finishing RG, she told me no.

  10. I don’t think it is too late, A russian gymnast Yulia B (can’t remember her last name) has left artistic gymnastics and is doing ballet. She left at like 16 or 17, don’t remember.

  11. @M, I couldn’t watch the on-line stream for podium training smoothly, it’s always frozen orz…and it’s not possible that she can transfer to do ballet as professional, too late, even she does it right now, it’s too late, not to mention to do it after finishing RG.

  12. Great pics, thanks for posting. It is really great that she will be competing again. She really looks flexible, she could do ballerina as a profession when she finishes gymnastics.

Sorry I missed the podium training. Hopefully the live stream link works

  14. @M, not every gymnast would announce retirement…such as Natalia Pichuzhkina, Aleksandra Ermakova etc…they didn’t announce anything, but they just retired…

  15. Ah I see, I think so too, it seems she might have other interests now, or maybe she is still recovering. I am sure they will announce it eventually if it is a retirement,
